I am interested in using jotform to gather data from potential clients prior to meeting wih them.  If I were to create a form using jotform is the information secure.  I see that the Free Starter package states that there are 10SSL Secure submissions - could you elaborate for me?

    Thank you  Christine Lachman

    Hello Christine,

Thank you for your interest in using JotForm.

SSL forms are meant for transmission of information between the user and JotForm servers by encrypting at 256 bit. You can notice https:// with a lock sign indicating secure connection.

The free plan is provided to receive 100 normal submissions, 10 SSL submissions per month. You can share the form with your users either normal http method or as SSL method with https.

Hope this information helps. Please get back to us if you have other questions. We are happy to assist you.
