Customize the form URL to remove the form ID.Asked by Gabriella_Taylor on August 19, 2014 at 10:43 PM
I have my CNAME Record added to use my domain with my forms. However, is there a way to have the URL customized so it doesn't have numbers as the name?
I know you can change the URL name in the form, but when I do this on the Jotform on my domain it gives an error.
I want it to say
Yes it is possible to remove the form numbers/ID from your form URL. Here are the steps you should follow:
1. Create custom URL of your form to use "discovery_session" in the form URL. The following guide should help you: http://www.jotform.com/help/261-How-to-create-a-Custom-URL-of-a-form
Please be noted that custom URL works in the following format: http://www.jotform.com/USERNAME/CUSTOM_TEXT
That means your form URL: http://www.jotform.com/42239116147148
will change to : http://www.jotform.com/Gabriella_Taylor/discovery_session
2. Now you can take advantage of our custom domain feature. This will not have the form ID in the URL. and you should be able to use the following form URL:
Hope this helps.
