How do I get rid of the blank line on the drop down box?

There is a blank line option on my drop down box that people are choosing on a required field.  How do I get rid of the line so that they have to choose an actual option and not just a blank line?

There are 2 ways to do this on the Dropdown field.

1. Assign a default Selected option

2. Assign a dummy value in the Empty Text Option

You can find this options in the Properties of Dropdown field.
