My text area question is not working properly

My text area question is not working properly. I am trying to use the 'Form Style' tab with no success. The web page does not recognize that I am trying to access the toolbar for this tab. The full compliment of tabs works for all other questions, but for some reason it will not work with the text area questions. My questions are how/why this is happening and how can I resolve it as the text area question is the most used question in my current jotform endeavor.
