Can I Embed a Jotform to Email?

How can I make a survey type form that can be inserted into a email and be live to enter responses directly within the email? Not a webpage URL link.

Also is it possible to have the form request an email address but have it automatically default enter the email recipients address but allow them to change the default address?

    Thank You

    Hello Ernie,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Yes, you can embed a form in your email. However, this method would affect the form's functionality and security so we really don't encourage embedding a form into an email.

    1. Copy your form's full source code by following our guide on How-to-get-the-Full-Source-Code-of-your-Form
    2. After copying the form's full source code go to PUBLISH > QUICK SHARE > SHARE FORM > SHARE ON EMAIL 1588029326quick%20share Screenshot 10
    3. Then you can delete the contents of the email template then click on the Source Code icon, on the formatting toolbar then paste the source code of the form.

Unfortunately, if something ends up not working or having an odd design, it will be outside the scope of our service and may call for a developer or designer on your end. Different email providers support HTML-based emails in different ways. Therefore, I still strongly advise using the direct link to your form. or Embedding a Form to a Web Page. As for your other question, I've moved that to a new thread. You can check that out here.
