    Form freezes when browsing for images?

    Asked by FlashpintGallery on September 06, 2011 at 01:31 PM

    Hello,

    I'm having some users submitting images via our jotform report problems that if they try to attach images that are larger than the specified file size that they cannot remove those images. They browse to attach images, receive an error message and then are stuck and cannot remove or delete those images in order to upload new, smaller ones.

    Thanks,

    Karyn

    Hi Karyn,

    This is usually resolved by clicking the Browse button again. Kindly ask them to try this and let us know if it works or not.

    You can also add a Clear button beside the Submit button so that your guests can clear their answers (note: this will clear all fields).

    Thank you for using JotForm!

    I asked Karyn Miller the above question.  I only want to delete the specific one I am having trouble with, not the entire form.  I do not want to write in all the information more than once.  I just need to be able to change information as I fill the form out.
    Please advise. Thank you.

    @Karyn

    As what my colleague has mentioned, clicking the "Browse" or "Choose File" button again and choosing a different file should change the file you first selected and enable you to submit the form.

    If it still does not help, may we know if the form is embedded on a webpage or if it is used as standalone? If embedded, please let us know the URL of the exact page where it is embedded. If used as standalone, may we ask Lisa the browser she's using to fill out the form?

    We would love to solve this problem the soonest time possible. We'll be looking forward to your response. Thanks!
