Setting Form Limit Submission

I'm planning of running a fund-raising campaign offering a limited number of perks to donations. On some perks only having 1 available. I looked up the feature for jotform submissions to find that this can be done in the form limits tab by entering the number of times a form can be sent. 

As a test I set up a limit of 1 with no date set based on a future form to be set up for one available perk. Problem. Form unavailable. I then set up a test for 2 submissions. Problem. After successfully being able to fill out the form and send, on the second attempt, "Form unavailable". So am I supposed to have or guess the actual number to enter to get the right amount of submissions for a form?

This is not going to work out well if I have 5 donations based on perks available for say £50 or one special perk for a donation of £100 if that number of submissions isn't reached people can't access the form to make a donation or have more than one person donating for only one available perk. Problems all round. So just how is this feature supposed to work given that according to the instructions given you just enter the number and it's not working accordingly? And should I now be looking for a another form provider? This was just a test on a current form to see that the function works before setting up any donation forms for my campaign. Which now has to go on hold.

Hello Chris,

It seems you have set your form's submission limits. Please be noted that it works based on submission count or expiration date. You cannot set the submission limit for every options of your form.

If I understand your question correctly, you want to limit the form submissions for every perk. Is that correct?

You may like to take a look at our "Gift Registry" widget which will help you achieve your requirement. It will allow you to set the count of any item and reduce it after every submission. It will sort of count the inventory.
