Drop downs and ranking preferences

I want to create a drop down that ranks a person's preference.

If a person select event A as first preference, I would like them to only able to choose 2nd or 3rd preference for the next three events. Eliminating the options they can choose from the drop down as I wish for them to be able to use that drop down option only once.

    Hi,

Does the elimination of the option should be saved permanently so when other user fills the form, they can't select the option which are already taken or selected before? If so, that's possible with Gift Registry. It's a checkbox field though and not a dropdown field. Check this: http://widgets.jotform.com/widget/gift_registry

However, if what you need is to only rank the options according to the user's preference, this widget will be of help. http://widgets.jotform.com/widget/orderable_list

If you want the options to be disabled instantly after it's selected, use this widget. http://widgets.jotform.com/widget/asmselect

Hope any of these fits your requirements.

    Thanks!
