Request to resend the email sent through Approval Workflow

    Hello!

    I have a potential client who filled out my New Guest Application form, I sent her through my approval flow which would then lead her into my New Guest Intake form.

    However she did not complete the New Guest Intake form.

    How would I go about sending that New Guest Application form approval flow email? Is there a way to easily click resend, or should I manually copy and paste the email and send it via my email software?

    Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. If the New Guest Intake form is sent to the responder through email, there should be an option to resend it. Please give me time to review on your Approval Workflow process and I'll update you as soon as possible.

    Thanks for waiting Julia. I've cloned your forms as well as the Approval Workflow and run some tests. I tried to find a way to resend the email to the responder but it doesn't give us an option.

    On the Submission Table page, there's the Action Button where it gives the option to resend emails but it is limited to Autoresponder and Notification emails only. There is no option to resend the email sent through the Approval Workflow.

    I'll be sending a feature request to our developers to include this feature in our future updates. When or if it's developed depends on their workload, how viable it is, and how many other users request it. If there are any updates, we’ll circle back to this thread and let you know. 

    In the meantime, we're left with two options.

    1. To copy the email template and send it using your personal/work email to the customer.
    2. Edit the Submission entry to cancel the previous approval and then trigger another one. Once the approver approves it, it will send another email to the responder.

    Here's how to edit the submission entry.

    1. Go to your Inbox page.
    2. Tick the checkbox next to the submission entry.
    3. Click the 3 vertical dots next to the Comment button at the top right most of the page.
    4. Click on Edit. It will open the submission entry.
    5. Do nothing but click the Submit button.
    6. On the same Inbox page, it will show a message that the approval workflow restarted and it gives you an option to approve or deny.1659910276 62f03884821a5  Screenshot 10

    Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

    Sounds great, thank you for requesting the feature!

    And thanks for the two options of a work around! I think in this case, I will try the editing the submission entry and send her the email through a different approval button.

    Hi, I am requesting this feature as well. I have over 100 people who didn't get the approval email and now I'm trying to figure out the best way if handing it.
