jotformpro prefix versus jotform prefix

I created a secure form as a draft for a customer event about 4 weeks ago and set the Custom url component.

    the url was:

    secure.jotform.co/xxxxx/yyyy

The customer then, without my knowledge had special invitations printed with the above url printed on the invitations.

I then upgraded my jotform account.

New secure forms I create now have the url prefix:

    secure.jotformpro.co/xxxxxx/yyyyyyy

So my question is whether the original draft form with the old prefix will still properly work without Jotform plan restrictions.

My problem (if there are Jotform restrictions based on the non jotformpro url) is that the customer must use the original url because they have already printed out invitations.

Really need an urgent answer on this.

    Thanks

    Hi,

You can still use the old forms with the same jotform.co URL.  That won't be a problem. Just please use the same URL when publishing it somewhere. Don't change jotform.co to jotformpro.com and vice versa.

    Thank you!

    Okay - thanks

But what if I want to start a new form from scratch and inherit the old jotform.co url?

That does not appear to be supported.

You can access jotform.co and jotformpro.com to create your forms. But since you're on the paid plan, the system use jotformpro.com for your new form(s). I think yes, you cannot force what URL to choose. You can change it manually, but that will give you an error. For example:

    Thank you!
