Go back and edit a form

I am creating a pretty lengthy form and I would like my users to be able to go back in and edit so they don't have to complete the form in one sitting. Is this possible?

    Hi,

Yes, that is possible. If you'd like them to submit the partially completed form and can edit it later, you can use our EDIT Link feature: http://www.jotform.com/help/40-How-to-Let-Users-Update-Their-Form-Submissions-at-a-Later-Date.

If you want your submitters to just save their entry without submitting, but can come back to it later without filling up again all those previous details, you can use the following feature and workaround:

    a. Autofill feature: http://www.jotform.com/help/227-How-to-Enable-Auto-Fill-Feature. Please note that this feature saves the data into the local browser storage of the user so it's required to continue using the same computer and browser.

    b. Session URL: http://www.jotform.com/help/97-How-to-Save-Forms-to-Continue-Later. This method is recommended if you need form users to continue later using another device and browser.

Let us know if you have further question.

    Thank you!

I am now running into another issue in that all of my file uploads and are not coming through on the form. I upload attachments on every screen requested but they don’t show up on my submission email, only some of them do…. Is there a limit that I need to change? I have it set up to send all the files to my Dropbox account.

    Hello Britt,

I've moved your question on file uploads to a separate thread and shall be addressed there.
