Save Feature on Jotform

    When saving the “jot form” for our mentor checklists, the link is sent to our beaufortschools.org account. We do not have access to our google email.

    Is there a way to change the email address that the link is being sent to? If not, how/where do I access it?

    Also, can two forms be opened at once?

    Hello Angela,

    Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm sorry you're having difficulties with your form. I checked both of them but I'm not seeing the Save feature being enabled on any of the forms. To assist you better, can you take a screenshot of what’s happening and send it to us? This guide will show you how to do that.

    Regarding your other question. Yes! It is possible to open multiple forms on a separate browser tab.

    Once we have a better idea of what’s going on, we’ll be able to come up with a solution.

    It shows that an email has been sent; what email address is jot form sending the email that contains the link to return to the saved form? Please see previous thread for more information on my question.

    Hello Angela,

    Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. The Save and Continue Later feature forwards the link of the saved form to the email address of the filler of the form. I checked. your form and it shows that you have not added an email address field to the form which is needed if you will enable the Save and Continue Later feature. Here's how to add an email address widget to the form:

    1. Click on the Add Form Element button on the left of the Form Builder page.
    2. Under the Basic tab, look for Email Address.
    3. Drag it to the form to add it.
    4. Make it a required field so that you'll get a notification to fill it out to make sure you do not forget to type an email address before saving it.

    I believe you all are misunderstanding when I say my forms. I have forms shared with me through the district that I manage. I have made all the support suggestions that have been given to me thus far on the forms. It feels as if I am going around in circles because I believe you all are copying and looking at the forms that I had saved under my forms instead of the forms that have been shared with me. I apologize for not clarifying earlier. I am looking at the forms that are shared with me in the HR 2022-2023 folder and then the August folder. An email address is listed on these forms and is already required for them to put their email address in. How do I set the form so that the save link goes to the mentor email that is listed on the form?

    Hello Angela,

    Can you send me the link to the forms so I can take a look at it for you? When you enable the Save and Continue feature, by default, the save link will be sent to the email address of the user filling out the form. If you want to view the saved submissions, you can check them on the Submission Tables under the Incomplete Submissions section. This guide will show you how to do that.

    Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to help you with this.

    Hi angela.stewart!

    Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support.

    If you are saving the form while you are logged in to your Jotform account it will be saved on your account.

    If you want to test the save function and manually enter the email address as the recipient you would need to log out of the Jotform account.

    Once logged out, if you click on the save button you will be routed to the following page:

    You can then click on "Skip Crate an account"
