Fill another form button in thank you keeps disappearing

    PLEASE... This request demands an emergency fix! This is the 4th time I had to redo the prefill function/button on the Thank You page of my form. The Prefill Another Form requires that you match the source and target fields manually, which in my case takes a lot of time to do since both forms contain dozens of fields without any cohesive order.

    After spending weeks building this form, the malfunctions in the above component now makes the form completely useless. It seems that any edit to the Thank You page can trigger the "Prefill Another Form" button to delete itself. This is completely unacceptable for a paid account. And there seems to be no way to go back to the way it was since the revision history doesn't contain that part of the form. What can be done to reverse or stop this?

    Hello shakoure,

    Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I made a clone of your form and when the form is cloned, I confirmed that the Prefill another form button is missing. I went ahead and manually added it and tried filling it out multiple times in different browsers but I was not able to replicate the issue with the Prefill another form button disappearing. Each time I submit the form, the Prefill another form button is there and working properly. Here's a demo video.

    Could you please try adding the button again and then test the form on a different website to see if the issue still persists? I went ahead and cleared the form cache to prevent minor bugs.

    Hi CJ. Thanks for checking into this.

    I must point out again that the Prefill seems to disappear or delete itself when editing the Thank You page. I'm not sure what code may be affecting the Prefill form while editing but it simply gets randomly deleted by certain editing actions. The Prefill button should not be so easily deleted, and this is what I am asking to be looked into. I cannot move forward with completing my form - much less publish it for use - until I have some assurance that this won't reoccur. Is there someone in development that can look into this?

    This window has a save feature. Yet despite saving, when the Prefill function is subject to an unintentional delete action, there is no warning or notice. It simply gets deleted without you realizing it. Moreover, once its gone, there is no way to reverse the deletion or retrieve all the matched fields. Sorry, but this is not acceptable. I've recreated the prefill function 4 times already which has cost me a lot of time and frustration.

    Please tell me this will be addressed as soon as possible. Thank you.

    Hello shakoure,

    Thanks for getting back to us and I apologize that this is happening. We truly understand how upsetting this can be. I tried recreating the issue. Despite many edits done on the thank you page, the option to fill another form is still there. Also, when you hit the trash icon, a warning message will appear to confirm so it should not get deleted easily.

    To aide us with further investigation, please clarify which specific action is causing the issue. I understand its randomly happening however, if there's a chance, we would appreciate as well if you can provide a video clip of the issue. You can save it to your Google Drive or any similar platforms and share the link with us.

    As soon as we have more information, we'll git it escalated to our developers.
