Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support.
By default, when someone makes a submission to your form, each submission is assigned with a submission ID, and you can find them by following this guide. However, you can also set up your own custom unique ID's, which you can use as your serial number. For more details, please follow the guide on how to add a custom unique ids to your form submissions.
