    First, i read this:

    http://www.jotform.com/answers/30022-Could-you-possibly-add-a-feature-to-allow-each-ID-to-be-randomly-generated-of-a-length-determined-by-the-user-instead-of-always-increasing-by-one

But that does not work for me. I need to generate a random code with the prefix option, where i can find the submission with this code (above 300 subs). And it need to be randomic because people here cannot connect the code to the person. Is it possible?

    Thanks for the great support.

    Best Regards,

    Hi Fillipe,

Like what Aytekin mentioned in the thread you referred to, the submission ID generated in each successful submit is a random number. Unfortunately, you cannot add a prefix to it, at least not outside of the e-mail alerts.

For e-mail alerts, you can just append the submission ID placeholder with your prefix. For example: inserting GXR-{id} in your notification or autoresponder will generate something like GXR-181235385112200100 for a submission. The downside to that is the prefix will not be saved in the submissions. It will only be displayed in the notification e-mail sent to you or the autoresponder sent to the form user.
