Can I remove choices from a drop down without affecting responses that have already been entered?

    Hello,

I have a JotForm that I am using to collect registrations.  These registrations are for a program that happens 3 times a year.  One question on the form is a drop down, and asks which term (season) they would like to register for [fall, winter, spring].

I need to close the Fall registrations.  Can I eliminate the Fall choice without affecting past responses?  I don't want the data to change, I just need to eliminate the choice from new people who are filling out the form.

    Thanks for your help!

Yes. It is possible to remove the existing options without affecting the existing submissions. Since the submissions are already stored, you won't be having any issues except when you edit the submission again with the updated form. So, you can delete the option from the dropdown box.

Hope this information helps. Please get back to us if you have any other questions. We will be happy to help you with.
