I use google forms for my employees to report to me some of their daily activity. Google forms suck and you guys rock and I want to move everything over!
But one thing that google does that is that:
1. Because all my employees use google apps email, I can limit access to the forms to them only.
2. When they fill out the form, the form automatically collects their email address based on how they are logged in. I can then use that email address to send them custom notifications (with a script).
Is there a way i could do this with Jot forms so that the user does not need to manually enter their email address?

When you create the form, you can share the direct link form to them only:
On regards of the auto-filling the the Email field, I guess this would not be possible, we do not have such a feature that would allow you to auto-fill based on logging activity in Gmail a accounts, it would be necessary to manually enter the email address.
