Do your forms support reading a querystring variable from a url and then entering that value into a form field?

We currently have a part number converter that allows our customers to type in competitor part numbers and the results will show our part number that is equivalent. We want to create a "Quote/Sample" button that will get the part number result and automatically enter that value into one of our forms that we have created with JotForm. I need to know if your forms support the reading of a querystring variable from a url and then will enter that value into one of the form fields?

    For example:

    www.linktechcouplings.com/contact/quoterequestform.aspx?part=abc123

The above url links to one of the forms we created on JotForm that we have embedded on our website but we need to know if your tool will read the value for "part" and place "abc123" in the text box for Item 1?

Please let me know if this is possible?

To give you an example of our Part Number Converter, here is a link to it:

    http://www.linktechcouplings.com/Products/PartNumberConverter.aspx

Type in the following part number: PLCD17004 and click "search." We would create a button that will be next to Our Part Number that says "Get Quote" and we would like the part number "40ACV-SB2-04" to be automatically entered into the Quote Form above in the Item 1 text box. This will eliminate our customers having to remember which part numbers they look up.

My follow up question would be if this is possible, can it happen multiple times almost like an "add to cart" feature that allows you to continue shopping but still saves everything you added in "your cart."

Unfortunately, this is not possible from other URLs. However, we have an app that supports prepopulating fields to JotForm.

Please go through this guide and see if that works for you.

Hope this information helps. Please get back to us if you need further assistance. We are happy to assist you.
