Re-arrange the fields before exporting to Excel

    Is it possible to change how fields are ordered before exporting to Excel or Google Sheets?

    Hi dtplisney,

    Based on my checks, you can make changes to the order fields are being displayed in the preview section for Submission by dragging the column in the position you would like it to be. But, when the Excel file is exported, it defaults to the same order as the form. Sorry to say, I have concluded that you cannot save the sort order online before exporting files. 

    A possible workaround that you can explore is sorting your fields for the form in the desired order you would like the excel file to be exported. If not, the sort order would have to be modified after the file is exported.

    We do not have such feature. A workaround would be arranging your fields in the form builder before exporting your submissions so you can get the desired output when its exported to Excel. After that, you can restore the arrangement of the fields in your form whenever you want. It's either you want to restore it on the form builder (press ctrl + z) or using the revisions history.
