- bimchkAnswered on September 23, 2014 at 03:31 AMDear Sir,
Thank you for your response. What I want to mean is when I am using
list" dropdown is working fine but when I would like to add more than one
option then checkbox is fine. But here I could not do it. Can you help me
so that I can choose multiple option?
I have one more question. When I am extract the data I saw that whole
"configurable list" are kept in one cell. For example the following
contains to one cell. But I want Name, Guardian's etc. to be there in
Understood":"English","Mother Tongue":"Bengali","Religion":"Hindu","No. of
camps attended":"2","Trainee":"Ordinary","Special Training":"Physical
Is it possible to get all the items of "configurable list" in separate
columns? If possible, please tell me how?

If I understand your question correctly, you want to add check box option in your "Configurable List" widget so that your users can select multiple options. Is that correct?
You can do that by adding "checkbox" field type in the field configuration of configurable list widget. Example:
*Language Understood: checkbox: A, B, C, D
But while answering this thread, I did few test and there seems to be some glitch where the checkbox options are not being displayed in the configurable list widget. It only displays one check box with no label visible for options.
I am reporting this to our back end team. We will get back to you as soon as this issue is fixed.

Hi, just want you to know that the formatting issue which you reported in your other post in the excel/csv files is now fixed. Please refer to this thread. I posted screenshots about the formatting of the widget values on each report including email notifications and pdf views.
We're still investigating the checkbox issue. Rest assured that we'll update you once we have something.

The checkbox issue is fixed - you should be able to add options which your form users can check off:
Field Title: checkbox: option 1, option 2, option 3
Please try it out, and let us know if you experience any difficulty.
- bimchkAnswered on December 17, 2014 at 05:01 AMThanks, It is working fine.
