    Altering the required field boxes

    Asked by Paul Sutton  on September 23, 2014 at 09:59 AM

    I want to alter the red box alerts that come up if you try to send the form without filling in the required fields. Is there anyway I can format these to my own style?

    Hi Paul,

    You can do this by using the Inject CSS functionality. You can find more info on how to do it here.

    More specifically, you'll need the selectors in order to style the error states:

    /* Use this selector to change or remove the soft red background */

    .form-line error {
        background-color: transparent;

    /* Use this selector to style the error boxes */

    .form-error-message {
        background-color: green;
        color: white;

    /* If you wish to remove the icon inside the error boxes */

    .form-error-message img {

    /* To use your own custom error icon (make sure to remove the default first)
    Doesn't works on IE7 and below which is usually less then 2-3% for most of the sites*/

    .form-error-message:before {
