Notifications do not work

    Dear Sir/Madam,

    In one of my forms, notification e-mails do not work. I've used this function before so I am quite sure that I gave in the right settings. The notifications should be sent out when certain conditions in the form are met.

    Moreover, I used autoresponders in this form too and they work perfectly fine.

    I don't know what the problem is, can you help me?

    Hello Ruben,

    I did check your form but could not find the email alert with name "Notifier ES". Please check the screenshot below:

    Have you deleted it already? I also check your form's condition but there is no condition to send email using "Notifier ES".

    I would suggest you to add the notifier and the condition again. We will test it if the issue persists.

    Dear Sir/Madam,
    I deleted and reproduced it several times in order to make sure that it was not due to a mistake I made. I now added the notification e-mail again including the condition in the form. However, it still does not work; notifications are not sent to ba-ceremony-fasos@maastrichtuniversity.nl
    It would be nice if you could check again.

    Hi,

    I checked our mail log for the address "ba-ceremony-fasos@maastrichtuniversity.nl" and it appears as though the emails are indeed being sent.Notifications do not work Image 1 Screenshot 20

    It is possible that the emails are being filtered by your service provider as spam.  Either due to the frequency they are being received or because they are being sent from a "noreply" address.  Here is our guide on how to setup your notifications to prevent filtering, as well as what servers to have whitelisted with your email provider:

    If they are not being filtered, let us know and we will be happy to have another look.

    Dear Sir/Madam,
    I had to solve it in a different way; I chose to send the notification e-mails to a different e-mail address which works fine.
    However, sending notification e-mail notifications to ba-ceremony-fasos@maastrichtuniversity.nl still does not work. I made a new form to test this: http://form.jotform.co/form/33441712391853
    I really want this to work in the future. I also asked our ICT department to have a look into it. They told me that they can find any
    e-mails sent from @jotform.com or @jotmail.com to ba-ceremony-fasos@maastrichtuniversity.nl for the past 30 days. They told me that they cannot do anything about it, and told me to contact you again.
    I hope you can further look into it.

    Voor zover we zien zijn er in de laatste 30 dagen geen mails een @jotform.com of @jotmail.com gericht aan ba-ceremony-fasos@maastrichtuniversity.nl aan ons systeem aangeboden.
    We zien in de logs veel meldingen zoals:

    --> aan Alexandra Korn is een bericht met subject "Confirmation registration Graduation Ceremony BA European Studies" afgeleverd, met als return-path noreply@jotmails.com en als afzender ba-ceremony-fasos@maastrichtuniversity.nl
    De mail wordt dus niet afgegeven, van de afzender worden er gewoon geen mails aan ba-ceremony-fasos@maastrichtuniversity.nl aangeboden.
    Dit zijn echter problemen die u in samenwerking met Jotform zal moeten lossen.

    I have tried changing the email sender to noreply@formresponse.com and submitted it.

    Can you please tell us if you got that email?

    I took a look at the emails (I am attaching a screenshot of the same data you can see as well):

    It seems that it is sent from our servers.

    Hello Ben,
    I still didn’t receive the notification in my ba-ceremony-fasos@maastrichtuniversity.nl inbox. It can’t be the spam filter either, I checked this with our ICT department.

    Hello Ruben,

    This is strange that you are not receiving the submission emails.

    I would suggest you to use your own email domain and SMTP to send submission emails. You should setup a custom "Sender E-mail" option. The following guides should help you:
