Several submissions are not appearing in the integrated Google sheet. There are submissions with time stamps before and after the missing submissions that appear.

Some of the reports like this are usually caused by the modification made to the form and modification made to the current spreadsheet, especially the first row where field labels are placed. I hope you didn't do any of these. If you do, you would need to re-integrate your form to Google Spreadsheet in order to fix it.
Can you also please check if no duplicate sheets are created to your Google Drive Folder?

I'm pretty sure no duplicate sheets have been made. It appears that only 2 or 3 submissions are missing from the sheet, and they are neither the oldest nor the most recent ones...
The sheet has been modified, but this happened when it was initially set up and we haven't had any issues until just recently.

You have a payment integration to the form and as we know, syncing only happen for successful payment submissions. That particular submissions may have been delayed, but shouldn't be the case I think.
Well, as I have mentioned, we do not recommend doing any modification to the spreadsheet. I would suggest re-integrating the form to Google Spreadsheet if you think it's not forwarding submissions anymore. Re-integrating the form should fix it, but note that the integration will create a new sheet.
