Hi: I am hosting a songwriting contest, and am wondering if there is a way for me to have my judges read the lyrics as they listen to a song? In other words, can I post MP3 files on a form for my judges to access, listen to, then rate?

    Thanks --Rich

    Hi Rich,

There are few different way to try and achieve this depending on your preferences.

If you are using SoundCloud, this widget might be what you are looking for:

    http://widgets.jotform.com/widget/soundcloud

If not there are few other widgets to use that you can see here:

    http://widgets.jotform.com/category/audio

Now there are few more options available, asked by few other people and answered by a complete solutions that you can see here:

    http://www.jotform.com/answers/344319-Adding-an-audio-file-to-a-form

    and

    http://www.jotform.com/answers/319081-Audio-and-Video-into-Radio-Button-selection

What I would suggest is that you find what would be the best option for you or if you can not find anything matching your idea to give us a bit more details and we will do our best to help you accomplish the same.

If you already have the sounds and a player on your own server and would like to have the judges only vote on the song, do let us know as then you might use the iframe embed widget (for example).

Looking forward to your response. :)

    Best Regards,
    Ben

Very helpful. I will try either soundcloud or one of the others. Thank you!
