I am getting this same problem too. Chrome version 37.0.2062.124 m.
Wierdly, I was able to reply to this thread using Chrome but I got exactly the same problem as the OP when I tried to reply to my own post (http://www.jotform.com/answers/435242-The-field-values-are-no-longer-being-passed-between-the-jotforms-after-switching-to-iFrames-embedded-code?entrymessage=10732640770). I had to use Firefox to reply to my own thread.

Sorry - I didn't see the title of this thread. I haven't tried editing a Jotform, my problem was (as per the OP) that I couldn't submit a new post to an existing thread. Cheers

Are you still unable to submit a new post to an old or existing thread? Can you please confirm if you are logged in or just trying to post using a guest account?
I have submitted a ticket last week about not able to post a reply if you are on a guest account but works perfectly fine if logged in. If you are using a guest account then that might be related to this ticket that I have opened http://www.jotform.com/answers/432488.
Can you please confirm if this is not the case?

I'm logged in. I am posting this reply from the same version of Chrome (running on Windows 8.1). So it's either intermittent, or only happening on certain threads, or something to do with Windows 7 (my other PC, which I was using when I encountered the problem).

And here I'm replying from the same version of Chrome but from Windows 7. Seems fine.

Ah, here we go... I just typed in another reply here, hit "Post Answer" and my post vanished.
Maybe I imagined it, but did I see a message flash up along the lines of "slow down you fool"?!!!

Have you tried clearing out your browsers cache? It could be an issue with browsers version, may we know what browser version where you using?
I'm using chrome 38 but I'm able to post a reply here. Also to isolate the issue please try to use a different browser so we can identify if it's only happening in chrome, firefox or mozilla.

It's only happening with Chrome Version 37.0.2062.124 m. It doesn't happen all the time. The next time it happens I'll try clearing my cache and trying different browser.

When you say "my post vanished": do you mean to say that when you post the answer to that specific thread, it is not displayed at all in the thread or you get some message error/warning?
If this happens again, I would suggest you to capture a screenshot of your browser window including the address bar and we will take a look. The following guide should help you in adding image in your forum post: http://www.jotform.com/answers/277033

I mean that when I type (or copy/paste) a reply into the 'Your Answer' box and then click 'Post Answer', I am sometimes taken straight back to the http://www.jotform.com/answers/ page. There is no error message and, when I check the thread again, my post isn't in there.

I'm sorry for the trouble caused to you.
As suggested by my colleague, please clear the browser cache and then monitor if this happens again. Do get back to us if the issue persists.
For now I am anyway reporting it to our back end team.

Unfortunately, we are unable to recreate the problem you have described.
May we ask if the issue still persists?
- daveoreardonAnswered on October 13, 2014 at 05:46 PM
Just testing to see if I can reply from Chrome on Windows 8.1...
- daveoreardonAnswered on October 13, 2014 at 05:48 PM
Okay, I think it's a cache issue with Chrome. I tried replying to this post and was unable to (as per the reported problem). I cleared the cache and then I was able to reply. I have a workaround now (clear cache) so I'm happy

Thank you for sharing the details.
Its strange that in Windows 8, you are unable to post your answer without clearing your browser cache. Your message has reached our back end team and we will get back to you as soon as they have any update.
