Can't change text 'Question' and 'Answer' in the email notification when Hide Empty Fields on email is enabledAsked by Sander on September 30, 2014 at 04:05 AM
Hello, I was wondering if it is possible to change the text 'Question' and 'Answer' in the email notification while the table stays locked (so empty field will not be shown). I want to be able to show those words in another language, or completely remove this entire table row.
Thanks in advance for helping me out!
You are unable to edit your form's notification email template because you have enabled the "Hide Empty Fields on Emails" setting. The following guide should help you understand how this feature works: https://www.jotform.com/help/256-How-to-Hide-Empty-Fields-on-Email-Alerts
If you need to edit the email alert template, you will have to disable this feature. Please check the screenshot below:
Please be noted that if you edit your email alert than the feature "Hide Empty Fields on Email Alerts" will not work anymore.
Hope this helps.
Do get back to us if you have any questions.
I do understand the 'locked table' feature. however, to my opinion the static words Question and Answer shouldn't be in the table. At least is should be possible to translate or remove those words.
Could you put it on the feature request list?
As per your request, I have added this into the feature request list.
We can't provide you any ETA but you will be surely informed here once this is made possible.
