WE are using jot form for a series of program applications. These applicants then undergo a screening and approval process. We need a way to add into the data base the "Approval Status" and any applicable comments so they appear in a column on the list of submissions. I tried adding a hidden field to the form thinking I could then simply edit the submission with the status in the hidden field. I don't seem to be able to enter anything into the hidden field when I click edit the submission.

After running multiple tests, I have confirmed the existence of this issue. It does seem like hidden fields are not editable when using Internet Explorer 8, although that is not the case with other browsers, such as Firefox, Chrome and Safari.
With that in mind, I have forwarded a report ticket to have this issue rectified by our developers. We will notify you of any updates and when this gets fixed.
In the mean time, you can use another browser to be able to edit hidden fields in the submissions page.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Thank you. It would be awesome to also have a "hidden" text field available.

The hidden box serves that same purpose, don't you think? Do you mean a text area? If yes, well, I have already submitted a previous request for that, checkbox and drop downs included. :)
By the way, the ticket for your hidden box issue has been assigned to one of our most hardworking developers. We will notify you once this gets fixed.

Yes, it would be awesome to have hidden check boxes and drop down menus. Thank you!
