How can I make the price of my program automatically appear in the payment section once a customer selects the appropriate School Code?Asked by curiouskidsscience on September 30, 2014 at 02:47 PM
I offer after school classes at many different schools but I'd like to be able to have all of my customers register via one form on my website. They are all different prices. How can I make the price of my programs automatically appear in the payment section once a customer selects their appropriate School Code? I need a way to link a school code with a certain price and have the customer only be able to choose that one option.
I am providing a screen shot of what I am aiming for from a different website (they used Formstack - I hope Jotform can do the same thing for me)
This can be accomplished following this guide "How to pass a calculation to a payment field". Basically you need to add the Calculation form widget and hide it:
Then click on Conditions, select Update form field:
Create the condition statement, add an amount, and output it into the Form Calculation widget field which in my case is named as "amount":
Once you do that, on the payment integration wizard you simply select "Collect Donations/Custom Amount Payments" and on the "Get amount from" field, you select your calculation field:
