Hi, I want to populate a drop down field in one form with the submissions from one field in another form. Is that possible?

    Thank you for your time!

It is not likely that we can populate the data online since the forms are not connected to the database with answers in that way.

However, can you please provide more details on your request? What is the scenario you are trying to achieve?

    Thank you.

Thank you for your quick response!

One example,  The user adds a company using an “add new company” form, I would then like for that new company… specifically the name field to appear as an option in the Company Name drop down field on another form called "add new job".

There is no way to set this up using available form tools, but in theory it might be possible with a custom programming solution based on a Webhook (from the first form) and JotForm API (to update the second form).

As a work around, you might consider using a User Contributed Dropdown widget on the second form. In this way, users will be able to add missing companies to the Dropdown really easy.

Please feel free to contact us if you need any further assistance.
