Completed applications not showing on form Inbox

    Completed application not hitting form inbox

    Hello,

    I have a form that I sent to two applicants and both of their applications were not received in the Inbox. They completed them, paid the fee, and pressed "submit". They even saved after each page.

    The fees were received by our organization's PayPal, but I still do not find their applications. Please help me so I don't have to keep asking them to fill out duplicate forms and pay again.

    I am looking for two submissions from a Rosemary Fisher and one from a Sue Thorpe.

    Hello Kehau,


    Thank you for reaching out to Jotform Support. Both Rosemary Fisher and Susan Thorpe can be found on the Pending payments.

    1) Open the form submissions tables, and click the three dots.

    2) On the pop-up window, click Pending payments.

    If you want to complete the selected incomplete payment, click the Complete button. Confirm the payment by clicking the OK button in the popup. This guide will show you how to do that.

    Thank you for the assistance. Please explain why these forms were hung up in "Pending payment" when our PayPal account already received the payments. If not for my customer service inquiry into the forms' status, I would have not even known the forms were completed. We don't want any further glitches so that applicants do not become frustrated, having submitted their form and I not receiving it. How can we amend this glitch?

    Hello GHNI,

    Thank you for your response. It's quite odd for the submissions to be in the Pending payment when the customer has successfully made the payment, and just like what you've mentioned you received the payment in your PayPal account. That usually happens only when the customer reached the payment page, but didn't proceed in making the payment.

    I would suggest you enable the Instant Payment Notification(IPN), this usually helps with the issue. You can follow this guide below.
