    Hi,

I was wondering if there was any way for me to create a form that would work something like this.

Question 1- What percent of houses were rented to people at 50% of the area median income?

                 Radio Button 1 - 0-10% (5 points)

                 Radio Button 2 - 10 -20% (15 points)

                 Radio Button 3 - 20-30% (20 points)

                 Radio Button 4  - 30-40% (25  points)

Question 1- What percent of houses were rented to people at 25% of the area median income?

                 Radio Button 1 - 0-10% (20 points)

                 Radio Button 2 - 10 -20% (25 points)

                 Radio Button 3 - 20-30% (30 points)

                 Radio Button 4  - 30-40% (35 points)

Underneath these two, there will be a calculation box that adds up their points total.

    Hi,

    Yes that is possible.

I have created a quick jotform with what I understood that you wanted to achieve.

Please take at it here: http://form.jotformpro.com/form/42794139064965

If you like it you can clone it to your own account by following these steps: How to Clone an Existing Form from a URL.

The total is achieved by using Form Calculation widget and by setting the values for the radio options.

Do let us know if you have any further questions.

    Best Regards,
    Ben

Thanks a lot, that looks like exactly what I want! How exactly do you set values for radio buttons?

    Hi Ravi,

I am gad that you have liked it.

To set the values you should click on the radio button widget and then click on its gear icon in the right corner of it and select "Show Properties" option from the menu.

Now in this new window you should scroll down to see a field called Calculation Values. Clicking on it will allow you to edit the values.

As soon as you click outside of the field that values are updated. Once you finish I suggest clicking on Close settings at the bottom to close them and save the form. You can take a look at it working right away by clicking on the preview button next to the Save option.

I do suggest to clone this jotform http://form.jotformpro.com/form/42794139064965 to see how I set it all including the calculation widget (if needed).

You can clone it (and have everything set as it is) following the steps mentioned above How to Clone an Existing Form from a URL.

Do let us know if you have any further questions.

    Best Regards,
    Ben

Thanks a lot. Unfortunately, the computers security settings will not allow me to clone the jotform, so sorry for making you go through all the extra work.
