Hi, is it possible for different options in the list to have different maximum number amounts.
Ex- I have a drop down with values: T-Shirts and Pants, and I want the maximum for the T-shirts to be 5 and the Pants to be 10. Is there any way to configure as such?

    Hello Rocky,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I believe you are trying to achieve your request using the Configurable List widget in your form. It would be great if you would share the link to your form to us. It would help us to understand how you are trying to show the Pant and Shirt option in your Configurable List.

If you show the Pant and Shirt option as a column with a Number type of column then yes it is possible to achieve this.

I have created a demo form that you can check out. Here is the link to the demo form. If needed you can clone the form and check the settings in the configurable list. We also have a guide on How to Clone an Existing Form From a URL that you can check out.

    Hi Ravi,

In terms of displaying on the form this is exactly what I am looking for. However I am looking to display the results on a pdf once submitted. So I would like to see the quantity of pants and shirts selected on my submitted form.

Is there any way to do that?

    Hi Rocky,

Thanks for getting back to us. Sure, you can add a configurable list element to your PDF Document. The answers submitted by the users will be reflected on the pdf. It's easy to add. Let me walk you through it:

    • From there click on Add Element then Form Fields and add the configurable list field to the pdf.

You can also create a new PDF document. Keep in mind that when you create a new PDF document all the updated Q&A pairs of your form fields are automatically generated for you. You'll just need to customize the design and layout of your pdf document as per your requirement. To learn more about customizing your PDF documents, please see the links below:

But, if you were referring to something else, can you explain it a bit more so we can help you with it? It would help us, if you could share the link to your form, I can check it out and help you with a solution.

Keep us updated and let us know if you need any more help.
