Can the Quantity Gift Registry widget be used to limit form submissions?

I'm using a form to allow people to register and pay for an event and it is working great. The event has a limit as to the number of people who can attend.

With Form Limits, I can tell JotForm to stop after X number of submissions, but since 1 to 5 people can be registered per form, Jotform is none the wiser, and counts it as one submission. 5 groups of 5 people will fill the event's capacity of 25, but JotForm's Form Limits will count it as 5 and still accept more registrations.

The Quantity Gift Registry widget does keep count of "seats" being sold. Is there a way to set it up so that when the Quantity Gift Registry reaches its limit that the form will put up the "This event is filled" message from the Form Limit setting?

    Thanks,

    Hello Dough,

Unfortunately, it is not possible to display the form limit setting if the quantity gift registry reaches it limits. You cannot combine both the features to.

If you want to use the "Quantity Gift Registry" widget to achieve your form limit requirement, you can simply mark the widget as required and then show a message to the user. If the limit is reached, the user will not be able to submit form as it is a required field. Please check the screenshot below:
