    Hi,

I'm trying to integrate a Jotform form with InInbox, but the data don't get there correctly.

I already managed to integrate it, however I can't  connect the correct fields from the form to the list at InInbox

Is there any problemyou are aware of?

    Regards,

    Djony

    Hi Charlie,

    There is no error messages.

The integration is sort of working. One of the fields (email address) works fine. The other form's fields don't get to the IniInbox list.

I will clean up everything, do it again, take some screenshots and post back here.

    Thank for the assistence.

    Hi there,

As requested I erased everything from both Jotform and Ininbox and started again.

Tried many times, and I guess the problem is when I have to assign the fields from the Jotform form to the Ininbox.

As you can see at image below, at left colum I can find the Ininbox fields, however, the selector to choose the Form field is empty.

Only the email and name (first name) works because the are already pre-selected when this window opens.

    Hope this image helps.

    How can we fix this?

    Regards,

    Djony

    HI Djony,

Thank you for providing us the details. I appreciate it.

I'm unable to recreate the problem in my end. But I noticed that you are using different labels, please make sure that the labels in your forms are the same name with the labels in your INinbox, this should avoid mapping problems.

Target Field on INinbox: Phone Number

    JotForm Field: Phone Number

    or

    Target Field on INinbox: Fone

    JotForm FIeld: Fone

Redo again the procedure with the integration and this should automatically match and map the fields properly.

Let us know if this works.

    Thank you.

    Hi Charlie

I had already tryed with same labels.... but to make sure, I did again, as you asked. Same problem.

If you register at InInbox with a free account I guess you could recreate the issue.

When I click at the "add new option" button, to map the missing fields, the left side brings all the InInbox fields. However the right site that is supposed to bring the JotForm fields is empty.

Anything else that could be done? Or should we give up ?

    Thanks,

    Djony

    Hi Djony,

I have just cleared your jotform cache. Sometimes this can cause issues with the integration.

I however took a look at your jotform and tried cloning it to my account to see what is the issue just in case and I see that you are using regular boxes for your integration.

I have tried doing the same and I can not get the address option to show because you do not have the address widget on your jotform.

Now after I removed the fields that were there and added the fields designed to collect this information the integration worked flawlessly.

While you could leave the phone, email and name fields as they are, because they do get recognized, for address field you should always use Address widget.

You can find all of them in the Quick tools section.

Do let us know how it goes and if you have any further questions.

    Hi Ben,

Yes, I tryed as you said and it worked for the address.

However it doesn't solve my need. I don't need a full address widget. I just need a text field, so the client can write whatever they want.

I also need a basic textarea, so they can send a message, but it doesn't work with any of InInbox predefined fields or custom fields.

Thanks for your effort trying to help  anyway.

    Hi Djony,

I have checked with my colleagues as well and this would not be possible. The reason is that this integration is not created by our developers, but by a third party. Having this said, if they update their app this will be possible.

You will still need to create custom fields in your own account to be able to do this, then re-apply the integration.

You can try living the comment to the developers here: http://apps.jotform.com/app/ininbox_email_marketing

However there seems to be an option of connecting to Ininbox through Zapier

    https://zapier.com/zapbook/jotform/ininbox/

I can not guarantee that it would work as you want it if you connect through Zapier, but do let us know how it goes for you if you decide to use this option.

    Best Regards,
    Ben
