How to map a birthdate field to Salesforce

I have a form on my website for a simple newsletter sign up. I would like to collect the person's birthdate, but my form will not map the birthdate to Salesforce. Birthdate is a standard field in the contacts of Salesforce and yet it does not show up in the drop down menu of field options in JotForm. Any help would be much appreciated!

    Thanks,

    Max

I believe that you are right, and the Birthdate date type field is missing in our Salesforce Contacts integration.

Now I have attached a feature request ticket to this thread and escalated it to our Development Team to add that field type.

We will let you know when we have any updates on this.

Thanks, Mike: what sort of time frame are we looking at?

    Hi Max,

Unfortunately we can not give any specific time frame when this would be available, but from what I can see, I can tell you that there is a developer assigned to this and you will be updated through this thread as soon as this is integrated into the SalesForce integration app.

    Best Regards,
    Ben

    Hello Max,

Apologies for the extremely long wait, but we'd like to inform you that this bug has been fixed. JotForm date fields are now eligible for mapping to a SalesForce contact's birthday field.
