You are right. Even though I settled my account with date format of d-m-y Dropbox Prefix with Date retrieved y-m-d. I've forwarded this situation to our developers so they can analyse better this situation.

They will contact you via this thread once they have an update on this matter.

Let us know if we can assist you further.

We can not really affect the integration to get a custom format date, but we can try the following.

This is possible to get a form 'load time' with a DateTime field, forward it with a datestring function to some custom text box field, and then use the text box in integration settings.

In this case you will get the date in the following format:

    Fri Oct 10 2014

If this solution is acceptable, please let us know. We can provide you with instructions to set this up.

    Hi,

It seems like my colleague Mike_T said that he can try doing it with the date format only. Our developers are still working on this Dropbox Integration regarding the prefix date.

We'll update you on this thread once we found a solution. Thank you for your patience.

    Hello Wtfuck,

I apologize for this delayed response, I was preoccupied with other pending tasks.  Anyhow with this, the date-time field is not actually being mapped with the Dropbox folder name setting.  Using the date prefix option is fixed to the 'Y-m-d H:m' setting.

With this, we'll try to add this case as a feature request.  We'll keep you posted as soon as we have progress on this matter.

    Thanks.

    Hello liyam,

So if I understand, you will not make this bug as a bug request but as a feature ?

    Thanks

    That is correct.

I also have in my todo list the modifying of the Dropbox wizard.  So I will keep this in mind and have it implemented on the next version.
