Form is not sending existing submissions to Mailchimp

I am also having issues, however, with the integration of the form's data with Mailchimp. Although I have 187 submissions, when I integrate to Mailchimp with a specific tag, Mailchimp gets only 58 of those submissions. I have checked off both boxes at the bottom of the integration screen, for updating and adding existing contacts, but with the exact same results.

I am trying desperately to get our office to stop downloading data and transferring it manually. Please help.

    Hi HarmonyProject,

Thanks for using Jotform. I've cleared your form caches to refresh your forms. Can you remove the integration and reintegrate it again? It's possible that the other submissions were not made with Mailchimp. Kindly follow this guide on How to Integrate with Mailchimp.

Let us know if you need any more help.

I'm not sure what you means by the statement, "It's possible that the other submissions were not made with Mailchimp."

I have followed your instructions, removed the integration and reintegrated and I have the exact same results. 58 of 187 submissions are getting transferred.

    Hello HarmonyProject,

Thanks for getting back to us. I checked your integration and I can confirm that it is configured correctly. Could you please confirm if the submissions that did not go through are sent before you set up the integration? Note that the current settings of the MailChimp integration will not be applied to the submissions made before the integration.

To troubleshoot further, could you please try resubmitting the submissions that were not sent to Mailchimp? You can do that by editing the submission(s) on your end. You don't have to make any changes to the submissions. You just need to click the submit button when in the edit mode to trigger the current integration setup.

Give it a try and let us know if you need any additional help.

Thank you for explaining to me exactly how the integration works. It was not explained in the existing documentation that you have to put in the integration BEFORE opening the form for registration. We thought it was possible to integrate after the fact. The fact that the integration process included a dialogue box saying that "ALL 187 SUBMISSIONS" had been successfully integrated to Mailchiimp, only further reinforced that assumption.

Because we had concerns that integration would be happening before we had a chance to clean up peoples' entries, here is my follow-up question: If submissions are edited subsequent to initial entry, do such edits get re-integrated to Mailchimp automatically, or do I have to remove the integration and re-construct it?

    Hi HarmonyProject,

Thanks for getting back to us. Yes, the editing of the submission will also be updated automatically to Mailchimp. For complete information, you check this guide on How to Integrate with Mailchimp.

Please feel free to reach out again if you have any questions or if we can help you in any other way.

I appreciate your continued prompt responses to our queries. However, when you make repeated entreaties to "check this guide on How to Integrate with Mailchimp", you need to know that none of these issues are covered in that guide. Nowhere does it say you have to set up the integration ahead of time. Nowhere does it say that subsequent editing in Jotform will continually update the existing Mailchimp contacts.

In other words, your documentation could be alot better.

But generally, your forum support has been very helpful.

    Thank you.

    Hello again HarmonyProject,

We apologize for the incorrect information that may have confused you. Note that the option to add the previous form entries before you integrate with Mailchimp can be sent by checking the option Add existing contacts to Mailchimp in your settings:

Let me show you how it's done. Here are my previous submissions before integrating with Mailchimp:

When integrating the form with Mailchimp and sending the previous submissions data:

Also, instead of resubmitting the previous submissions manually, the easiest way is sending data to other apps in Jotform Tables. It will only require a one-button click, and the data will be sent to Mailchimp. Let me walk you through it:

    1. In Jotform Tables, scroll right to the right border of your table and click on the +Add button.
    2. Select the Buttons tab, then choose the option Send Data to Other Apps.
    3. Enter your Column Name. 1666023956 634d82142eef6 Screenshot 43
    4. Select the Mailchimp Integration (or click on Integrate New App if you haven't set up the integration yet) and click on Create Column
    5. Now there will be a Send Data Button under the column you created. Clicking on each button will send the data to Mailchimp one by one.

1666023990 634d823643a6d Screenshot 54 I checked your form and can see that it is no longer active, and the integration has been removed. If you still want to give it a try, could you please confirm if trying both of the workarounds above fixes the issue?

Keep us updated, and let us know if you need any additional help.
