    Hi,

Can you please confirm that you were modifying or customizing the integrated spreadsheet?

If it is, then the JotForm Google Integration will only always removed any formatting or reset the integrated spreadsheet template.

Simply put, you cannot edit/modify/customize the integrated spreadsheet.

If want to apply customization on the spreadsheet, you should create a separate spreadsheet that is NOT integrated to JotForm.

You can then use the import range functionality to copy existing data from the JotForm spreadsheet to your own custom spreadsheet.

Hope this explains it. Please inform us if you need more assistance.

    Thanks.

I kept using spreadsheet for last 2 years, there was no problem, only from yesterday, all my customized integrated spreadsheet went wrong when every new submission

before, when new submission come in, for the spreadsheet they only add the new submission data at the very bottom as new data, it would not affect the old data, now it will reset the whole form.

can you help me to check it ?

    Hi,

Thank you for providing us more details.

before, when new submission come in, for the spreadsheet they only add the new submission data..

It still is like this till now. New submission are always appended at the last row.

it would not affect the old data, now it will reset the whole form.

Can you please describe further what was reset? This is the part I was not able to fully understand.

What was reset on the whole form? Usually, new incoming submission data are just added at the last row of last submission in the integrated spreadsheet. The integrated spreadsheet should not affect anything on the side of the form..

It will also help us understand more if you can share to us screenshot images so we can have visual on the problem you were trying to describe to us.

You can follow this guide to include screenshot when you reply again.

    Thanks.

I understand that before it was probably possible to modify and add formatting into the integrated spreadsheet and they are not refresh/remove or reflash every time there is new incoming submission.

BUT as I also have mentioned previously -- this looks like not the case anymore. All formatting and customization on the integrated spreadsheet were usually removed every time new incoming submission data were added to the spreadsheet.

Our development must have included an update in the Google Spreadsheet integration that removes any customization/formatting on the integrated spreadsheet.

The option I suggest that you can do is to create a copy of the integrated spreadsheet in your Google account. You can use the copied version to have formatting/customization you want.

Since the copy version is not connected to the form using Google integration, then it will not be affected by any new submission data.

Hope this help. Inform us if you require further assistance.

    Thanks.

    HEY,

SO IN THE FUTURE, THERE IS NO MORE CUSTOMIZATION IN THE GOOGLE SPREADSHEET?

    WHY ??

    WHY SO INCONVENIENT?

THAT IS THE REASON I KEPT USING JOT FORM FOR LAST 3 YEARS

NOW I HAVE TO COPY ALL THE ORDERS INTO ANOTHER SPREADSHEET

As of the moment, the integration seems to have that limitation.

So, yes its not recommended to modify/update/customize the integrated spreadsheet itself.

You actually do not have to manually copy all orders into another spreadsheet. You can use some built-in functionality of the Google docs spreadsheet to import data from one spreadsheet to another.

Check this article on how to.

Hope this help. Inform us if you need further assistance.

    Thanks.

Your concern about spreadsheet resetting its format has been addressed so I have moved your other question about import range here http://www.jotform.com/answers/442637.
