Hello,
I am writing a form for the judges of a competition. The judges have to select 20 applicants from a list of over 100 applicants as "finalists". The applicants they select need to be ranked in order of preference from 1 to 20 with no repeat rankings.
Do you have a suggestion for how to achieve this?
I have been trying using a variety of methods including survey tools, checkboxes, dynamic dropdown lists but I cannot seem to find something suitable.
I do not have a website to host this form, I will be sending the jotform link directly to the judges so it will be difficult for me to write some script to achieve what I need.
Thanks for your help

Hi,
I think the Orderable List Widget can do it already.
Check it here http://widgets.jotform.com/widget/orderable_list
Here is my demo jotform http://www.jotform.me/form/42812877501456
Depending on the items, the list can get too long (i.e 100 contestants will mean 100 items). A workaround to shorten the list is to hold initial voting/ranking to narrow down the list.
Hope this help. Tell us if you need further assistance.
Thanks.
