    Hi Support

We have been working on Lebel 3 application ( link above ) for a few weeks now.

It was consistently open on my browser and we saved content as we were populating this application.

I use Mac and Firefox 105.0.1 browsers.

I needed to restart my computer as it round of battery. Now when going back to my browser and opening the link to the application, the application is empty and I can not find any data saved.

Please let us know what we need to do to recover this work as we have given a lot of time and energy to this and would not be happy if we need to do it all over again.

Here is the email we have received our provider and we have followed all instructions

    Thank you!

Please know that the application will save as a cookie in your internet browsing history. The ICF does not receive your application or portions of your application until it has been submitted.

Please check the security settings on your computer to ensure that cookies are not being prevented or deleted from your browser. The saved data will remain on the application for a time period of 4 weeks. If you leave the application for a period of 4 weeks, without making any changes, the data will become lost and the organization will need to begin the application again. The application will only save typed information. It will not save your uploads or signatures. Please try to complete those sections when you are ready to submit. Please also know that the application will hold up to one (1) gigabyte (GB) of your uploaded materials. If you exceed that file limit, the application will not submit.

It is not recommended that you use wifi to complete/submit this application. If you do use wifi, please ensure that you have a stable connection.

If you are not sure about the settings on your computer, please complete this application in one sitting to prevent losing portions of your application. It is also recommended that you save a backup of the typed information on the application should that data become lost.

    Hi Zoran,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. It seems you are referring to a form that you filled out and submitted. Please note that Jotform is an online form builder where users use our platform to create forms that can be filled out online.

You may need to reach out to the owner of the Jotform form. You can also reply to the Autoresponder email that you received. If the owner sets up his/her email as the reply-to email, she/he should receive your reply.

Let us know if you need any other help.

Hi Carol, yes i need your further help as your assumption is not correct.

I am in the middle of completing this form. The form is NOT submitted.

Once again this is the case:

We have been working on this form https://form.jotform.com/ICFforms/ICFCELevel3Application for 10 days now. ( ICF is an organization that has used your service to offer this form for me to complete ).

This form was consistently open on my browser and we saved content as we were populating this application. I was instructed to the save form as i go along and this is exactly what i have done.

I am on Mac computer and Firefox 105.0.1 browsers.

I needed to restart my computer as it round of battery. Now when going back to my browser and opening the link to the form, the form is empty and I can not find any data saved. I was constantly saving the work done on the form

Please let us know what we need to do to recover this work as we have given a lot of time and energy to this and would not be happy if we need to do it all over again.

The ICF, the organization that has used your service to offer this form for me to complete told us in their email following:

Please note that your application ( form ) will save as a cookie in your internet browsing history.

So how do I find my saved form in my cookie in my internet browsing history?

Once again thank you so much for your support.

    Zoran

    Hello Zoran,

Thanks for getting back to us. I'm sorry this is happening. I went ahead and checked the form to see if the Save and Continue later option was enabled. And, it is enabled. When users try to fill out the form and click on the Save button, an email is usually sent to them. The link to the form is attached to that email for users to continue their progress.

Please try checking your email inboxes or Spam/Junk folders if you've received emails with the Continue Link to the form. You could also try syncing your browser with the email address you were using when filling up the form, then clicking on the Form URL to see if it would update your progress on the form.

If possible, you could also reach out to ICF and let them check if they could find your incomplete Submission data from their Submission Tables. You can let them follow this guide on How To View Incomplete Submissions in Jotform Tables.

Keep us updated and let us know if you need any more help.

    Hi Raphael,

I have checked all my Spam/Junk emails and did not receive any emails with a Continue link to the form.

My browser is syncing with my email.

What I understand from you the only remaining step is to contact the ICF.

    Anything else I can try?

    Many thanks Zoran

    Hi Zoran.

Thanks for getting back to us. Since you've already checked your Spam/Junk folders and haven't received any emails, please go with the form. You may need to contact the form owner to notify them that you are not finished completing it. You can let them follow this guide on How To View Incomplete Submissions in Jotform Tables.

Reach out again if you have any other questions.

    Hi Zoran,

Thanks for getting back to us.

Where you hitting the save button each time you wanted to save your progress on the form? I checked the forms incomplete submissions and found none matching your email that you said, so either it wasn't saved or they also can delete incomplete submissions if they choose to.

When you saved did you create a Jotform account or did you use skip create an account and enter in your email there as that would be the email to receive the link to your session.

Is it possible you never used the save button? If you reload a form browsers will store the data in their cache, but if you clear the cache or in this case restart your computer it may remove that completely and the data was never actually stored on our servers like it would be when submitting a draft.

Since there's no session found on their form with your data, unfortunately there's no session we can link you to to continue off of that.

Let us know if there's anything else we can help you with.

    Hi Parker,

Let's work this out so that I do not repeat the same issue again.

I am in the form now.

Have completed the first page with added my email address here

    1664379930 63346c1a55a92 Screenshot 2022 Screenshot 10

Then I completed the entire form. The system did not ask me to create an account while I was doing it and saving my work. I have attached all the documents etc.

Then I saved my work and click on next and the form got me to the next page

1664380058 63346c9a62f57 Screenshot 2022 Screenshot 32So my question is if the work i have completed is saved now or not? Can you pls check?

If not what do I need to do in order to save it as i need to work for a few days to complete this application?

I also want to point out that I DID not receive any email informing me that my work is saved and that I can continue with my form.

    Many thansk Zoran

    Hello Zoran,

Thanks for getting back to us. I'm sorry you're still having difficulties saving your form progress on this specific form. I checked our email logs and confirmed that it's not sending you the email notification about your incomplete form.

To confirm, when you clicked the Saved button at the end of Page 1, does it prompt you to skip creating an account and continue sending the incomplete form on your email or via a shareable link? Check out the screencast below:

    LJiao9m Screenshot 10

If not, can you please try to fill out the same form using a different browser? It should prompt you to the same screen where it will ask if you want to continue the forms later via a shareable link or through email.

If you can share a screen recording of how you're filling up the form, this would help us recreate and investigate this further. You can use a third-party app such as loom.com to create a screen recording for your equipment and simply send us the URL of the recording.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
