JotForm: Is it secure?

We are concerned about scripting injection attacks embedded in free form text fields. Are all fields encoded before being saved and e-mailed?

Also, we may need to capture sensitive information, such as SSN. What is the security level of the secure SSL forms.

    Hi afhiwebmaster,

The forms and submissions are transmitted securely with a 256 bit high-grade encryption. You can also log into JotForm site securely and download your submission reports over a secure connection using https://www.jotform.com.

We provide a very high security through out our hosting provider's servers for stored data. We got a very powerful cloud of servers whose storage is encrypted which provides security protection against  malicious attacks like SQL injection and denial of service (DOS) attacks.

Here's our guide on How to receive SSL Submissions and How to Enable Security Certificate Seal on Secure Forms.

Hope this answers your question. Please let us know if you need any help.

    Thanks!
