Any chance that there will ever be an easy option to just click a button in the tool bar to enable visibility for the unique ID field?
I'd like to use it as a coupon code generator but it's sort of useless to me as a hidden field. I'm going to try a workaround to have the value display in another field in order to display it and hopefully I'll figure it out but if you guys have any advice I'll be looking forward to your reply.

To confirm, you would like to ability to make the Unique ID visible with the JotForm form builder?
This request has been made before, however we are not currently working on making that happen, the reason being that it is not practical or possible. It is not known whether a user will (or how fast they will) complete a form. If three people load the form and it shows them UID_1,UID_2 and UID_3 and then the second person does not complete the form, there will be a gap in the ids. This is exactly the opposite of what the unique ID feature is designed to do. People expect the uids to be sequential.
Our devs team may look into another way to achieve this, in the future. For the time being unique IDs are determined at the time of form submission in which case they can't be displayed within the form itself.
Is the Unique ID meant to be used at another time, or in another form? If that is the case, you do have the option to have the Unique ID displayed in the Thank You page, as well as it can be sent to the user once the form has been completed. Please inform us if you would like to explore that option.

thank you for you explanation. but is it the same problem can happened even when you not displaying the Unique ID. You still have potential for gap in the id's ? example:
1st person open the form id= UD_01
2nd person open the form id= UD_02
3rd person open the form id= UD_03
1st & 3rd person submit the form but the 2nd person change his mind ,here is the gap.
If I am wrong please explained.
I like to use Unique ID and display this ID to the sales people on the form and I don't want them to create there own numbers. What would you recommend ?
