    Submission Successfull Message and Redirect

    Asked by bzh4bzh on October 12, 2014 at 10:31 AM

    I'm using Jotform within google sites. I'd like the page to display whether the form was submitted successfully for  seconds then redirect to the homepage.

    Also is there a widget that can regenerate the form (all fields above the submit button) then submit it with one click. (For my forms, users get annoyed when they have to fill it out twice. So I'd like them to be able to just have to press Submit once.

    Hi bzh4bzh,

    To confirm, you would like a page to indicate to your user that their submission was successful and then redirect them to the home page of your website?

    If that is the cause, you will need to set up a custom Thank You page on your website as you will need to add script to have the page re-direct your users to the home page.

    How to Setup Your Thank You Page

    You would create your custom page, which would inform the user that their submission was successful.

    You would then add this code to your page to have them redirected to your home page:

    <script type="text/JavaScript">

    redirectTime = "5000"; //per millisecond (5 seconds)

    redirectURL = "http://www.google.com"; //redirect URL

    window.onload = function() {

    setTimeout("location.href = redirectURL;",redirectTime);

    You would customize the script to determine how long before they are redirected and the URL that they will be directed to.

    I hope this helps!
