JotForm templates: Finding the subscription / payment template

Asked by Jodie  on October 13, 2014 at 04:07 AM

    Hi JotForm team,

I'm new to adding forms to my site www.fmpracticesales.com.au . I've reviewed the templates available.

If you could please advise if you have a template that would allow for my clients to register for an annual subscription and pay for an annual subscription.

I look forward to your feedback.

    Kind regards

    Jodie

    Hi Jodie,

There are many templates to choose from and what is even better is that you can use any of them and modify them to your liking, or to create a new jotform in exact manner that you prefer.

Now I can not tell you exact jotform that you should use, but can forward you to our JotForm templates that I believe to be what you are looking for:

    Our payment templates: http://www.jotform.com/form-templates/category/payment

    Our order templates: http://www.jotform.com/form-templates/category/order-form

Now it is very simple to create a subscription jotform (recurring payments jotform) using our JotForm Builder and we can help you setting it all up to your liking. What I would suggest is registering for a free account and then creating a jotform either from the template or by yourself and let us know as soon as you do not know how to proceed any further.

I would suggest taking a look at this guide: How to setup a recurring payment option

Do let us know if you have any further questions.

    Best Regards,
    Ben

    Thanks Ben.
OK. I've made great progress although my form still needs some tweaking.
    I'd greatly appreciate your assistance.
Could you please take a look to ensure that I have it setup correctly
    especially express setup for paypal.
    Kind regards

    Hi Jodie,

I took a look at your jotform and it seems quite well done :)

Now in regards to your subscription. I am not sure if that is what you wanted to do. Currently it is setup to be a subscription, but that your subscribers would only pay once and never again.

I presume that you wanted to set it so that your subscribers pay unlimited number of times every year.

Otherwise everything else seems to be properly set.

You will need to setup API keys at the front if not already to be able to receive purchases.

Do let us know if you have any further questions.

    Best Regards,
    Ben

    Thanks Ben.
I did notice the option for number of payments. It is only an annual
subscription so only one payment is required. For renewal, is there a
mechanism to send a reminder or perhaps the selection for it to be an auto
    renew??

New query - I came across an issue today. When the customer is directed to
paypal for payment however choose to cancel and return to website, it
returns the customer to the jotform that I created not my website. I've
spoken with paypal and was advised that it would be a setting within

jotform that I would need to change. Could you please provide guidance.
In coming across this issue, it did raise the question as to whether the
paypal connect from jotform is secure??

    Look forward to your feedback.

    Hi Jodie,

If you set it to only 1 then there will be no renewing of the subscription, unless you ask them to fill out your jotform again. The reason why I mentioned to set it to No Limit is so that their subscription would get renewed after 1 year has passed. So to answer your other question above, yes, there is, but you would need to set the number to how many (in this case years) do you want your users to be able to renew their subscription.

I can assure you that connection to PayPal is secure, but I have moved your new question to a new thread as we can only have 1 question per thread. You can see your new question here http://www.jotform.com/answers/442738

We will be replying to you there shortly.

Do let us know if you have any further questions.

    Best Regards,
    Ben

    Hi Ben
I have set up the payment options on my website and I now have some
    questions.
    Can you please confirm:
    1. that Jotform Payment tools are encrypted / SSL?

    2.
Jotform's privacy policy for personal information captured and stored

I look forward to your feedback.
    Kind regards
