    Hello,

Ive now beta tested this with another person (who isnt me) and they went through the system and then went back and tried something else and the figures changed.  I dont know where im going wrong, that sometimes numbers would add up and others wont, but when you refresh it is able to add some things and not others and it seems so random.

I was wondering if one of you guys who are pros, would be able to clone my form and sort out my variables for me, ive tried what feels like everything and just cannot do it.  i hope its just messy code on my conditions rather than not the right program for the job.  Id even pay for this?

    thanks for any help.

I understand you are having an issue where it parts of your jotform aren't working due to problems with your calculated conditions.

Upon checking your form I see a few different things going on which seems to be working normally.

The only thing I found so far that doesn't appear to be correct is that I noticed when Festival Week + Only Saturday Party Night I found this is only equal to 0 or is that on purpose?

Can you please describe more about the problems you are experiencing on your end which is leading you to believe that it's not working correctly? We will do our best to try to help you fix it.

this is a good example of what i was talking about - i havnt touched the coding in any way since i sent this to you originally, but when i do exactly the same thing youve done i get this:

Form Calculations dont seem to be working correctly Image 1 Screenshot 20

which means that if we were to go live with this, and people were to book in to the system then some people would get the ticket for free, and some people wouldnt, even though the program they are using is 100% identical.  this could lead to some serious administrative time wasting and having to chaise people up.

I beta tested this with someone yesterday and they found a couple of things that came up as different results to what i had come up with and what i had programmed in as well!  Argh! please help!

Ive just come back to it and tested it again -

This time 12+12+12+12+12+5+20 = 55 (even though nothing in any of the gift boxes (which are discounts) are ticked.)  It is different each time, and makes literally no sense...

    Hi,

I see that you’re using conditions to perform the calculations in your form.

Have you considered using the form calculation widget instead?
I think this widget could provide you an easier way to do this calculations.

Please take a look at it and if you need further assistance please let us know.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

I apologize for not explaining myself well in my last post.

What I mean is that you’re using conditions in your form to insert values directly into your calculation tool.

Therefore even when you indeed have set a formula in your calculation tool, the calculated value will be overwritten when any of the above conditions are met.

What I suggest is that you erase all the conditions for the Calculation field, and use them only for the discount fields.

Please take a look at this demo version of your form to see what I mean.
Feel free to clone it if you want to take a deeper look.

Please let us know if you have further questions.

    Thanks.
