How do I change 'From' email for Email Validation WidgetAsked by deepakmelwyn on October 15, 2014 at 09:37 AM
When i select email validation which sends validation code to email, the from email is that of Jotform.
How do I customise this, so it is my email address
I maybe wrong, but I assume you were trying to do this https://www.jotform.com/help/238-How-to-Add-a-Custom-Sender-Address-to-an-Email-Alert ?
You can indicate the email address on this screen where you wanted the Verify Address message will be sent.
So, the verification code will now be sent to your own provided email address.
Please inform us if you need further assistance on this.
This is not what I meant.
My query is with regard to E-mail Validator widget.
I would like to customise the validation code email being sent. The name is displayed as "JOTFORM"
I want to be able to customise it.
Thank you for clarifying that. I corrected the subject then.
Unfortunately this is not possible to do yet with the E-mail Validator Widget.
You cannot change or customize the Sender Name and Email used by the widget.
I will forward this instead as a feature request to our higher team support. Perhaps they can add the option to be able to customize the E-mail Validator Wdiget sender name and email address.
I cannot provide you with a time frame though when this will be added. But we will make sure to notify you once we have update on the status of the feature request.
At this time, the most I can suggest is to use the widget's default name and email instead.
Inform us if you have further concern.
