Sometimes we receive orders with no quantity

I have an order form with a number of required fields. Obviously, the customer must order something and enter the desired quantities. However, we have received an order with no quantities entered. Customers can order more than one product, but not necessarily all of the available products. Because I have made this a required field, I would think that at least one of the products listed should require a quantity.  I think I have temporarily corrected this issue by simply re-inserting the source code. But still not sure how it can happen.

Additionally, when I have tried to recreate the problem by completing the form without quantities, I get an error message: "there are errors on this form...."  However, it does not highlight what exactly the errors are. I am concerned that customers will forget to fill in quantities, get the error message, and not know what the errors are.
I hope this question makes sense.

    The form is here

I think empty quantity just means "0". So, the user does not want any of that product.

If the field is a required field, having one "0" on one of the questions will actually make it a filled field. So, the required check will ignore it.

I will answer your second question on another thread.

We continue to get email notifications of orders without quantities on any of the products. The last 2 orders we received were submitted this way.  I have tried to recreate this by leaving the order form blank, completing my name, address, etc., then submitting the form. Each time I get an error message that I must fill in a quantity on at least one product. So how is it possible that we are receiving submissions with no quantities?  I am perplexed.

    Hi,

I was able to see the empty order submission you mentioned

but so far I could NOT replicate this issue when I tried the jotform http://www.jotformpro.com/form/41667029180960  your website.

I could not submit the jotform if I leave ALL Quantity to only zero(0).

It requires at least one item to have 1 Quantity to proceed

I am suspecting that there maybe script conflict that is happening between the script on the form and those existing in your website.

Please try re-embedding the jotform  http://www.jotformpro.com/form/41667029180960 in your website using its Iframe embed code instead.

    Follow this user guide http://www.jotform.com/help/148-Getting-the-Form-iFrame-Code

Please inform us if the issue persist even after doing this already.

    Thanks.
