Create complex jotform with side by side layout using New Form Designer

It's nice in a very simplistic way. What I still see lacking is a method of creating complex forms with side by side layout.
For example, think of a contact from with First name and last name text fields, side by side, with a title pulldown at the end of the same line (ex. Sr., Jr).
How often would you rather see the fields for City, State and Zip Code on the same line rather than as three distinct lines?
Supporting this, especially with the ability to drag the fields into place, would be amazing.
I would love to be able to do this http://greatrescue.org/adoption-form/ using JotForm.
This is a re-post of a comment on Introducing Jotform’s New Form Designer!

Hi,
Thank you for providing us more details.
I can see what you meant here upon checking the website
The column layout is actually available in the New Form Designer.
You can see this in the Form Layout option
In my screenshot I have enabled 3 column layout. As you can see it will automatically shrink the next field at the bottom and it line it within the same line on the field/s on top
You can still do this in the Form Builder using the form field positioning option
http://www.jotform.com/help/90-Form-Field-Positioning
The New Form Designer have made them visually simpler and intuitive layout though.
Please tell us if you need further assistance.
Thanks!

This is also the first feature I am looking for as I could not find any easy way to achieve this previously - but "enable form columns" is not shown to me when I open the Form Designer ???
I can see the option for "Make this form responsive"
(I hope when it is all final that columns and responsive will not be mutually exclusive)
Help please
Thanks, Rick
