Hello, I would like to calculate chosen services and calculate prices at the end of a form. How can I achieve this? I don't  understand the calculator and how it works. Do you have a step by step tutorial on this? That would help a lot, as I am new to Jotform.

For basic calculation please check out this guide http://www.jotform.com/help/259-How-to-perform-calculation-in-the-form. This guide might also help http://www.jotform.com/help/268-How-to-Insert-Text-or-Mathematical-Caculation-into-a-field-using-a-Condition since what you might be trying to achieve is to calculate values at the end of your form base on a condition.

You can also use this math functions guide for reference http://www.jotform.com/help/267-Form-Calculation-Math-Function-Reference. Tell us your requirement and we'll try our best to provide an answer to you.

Thanks David. I have managed to get it working fine, However I have 1 more field I would like to add but not getting it to work.

I need to add an item X 2 or item X 3 etc.  before the final calculation.

This is what I have

1 Red Apple + 2 Red Apples = 3

This is what I need. What if I wanted to add and multiply say;

1 red apple X 1 red apple + 2 red Apples = 4

How would I setup 1 red apple x 1 red Apple in a drop down or manual input text field?

Please see form to get a better idea http://form.jotform.us/form/42885121915154

I am not sure if I am understanding you correctly.  I setup a quick form with this calculation:

The resulting form is this:

http://form.jotformpro.com/form/42886257734972?

You can enter the number of apples you would like in the first two text boxes and then multiply that total by whatever number you would like in the third text box.  If you want the apples to be multiplied then a number added at the end, simply swap the "+" and the "*" symbols.

If this is not what you were looking for, please clarify a bit more about what you are trying to do and we will be happy to help.

Hello David,

Sorry I didn't mean to get everyone confused.

I am basically  trying to create a form where I can choose an item with a pre-configured price and multiply that same item 2 to 3 times or more and have the final cost automatically updated based on how many items I choose item.

In example. If I choose 1 item  which cost's \$20.00. Then choose that same item again, then the price should show double.

Hello,

I'm sorry but I don't fully understand what you're trying to do.

Can you please explain a little bit more how are items will be chosen?
I mean the items will be picked one by one? Or are you going to allow to select quantities?

I found this form on your account: http://www.jotform.us/form/42885121915154 is this the one that you're testing with?

Also, may I suggest that you take a look at the following guides:

I think that you'll find useful information there.

Please let us know if we can be of further assistance.

Thanks.
