    Calendar Date Separator appears incorrectly on mobile devices

    Asked by AlperCayhan on October 16, 2014 at 09:40 AM
    Besides this problem, the separation thing (- or . or /) appears in mobile view down the date field, not between the "day", "month" and "year".

    I understand you are having a secondary issue here involving the - or / which are appearing in the wrong place on your side if that's correct?

    When I was testing this with the first issue you mentioned I am unable to replicate this issue either.

    Are you able to provide us with a screenshot of it if possible so we can investigate it more?

    Thank you for providing that and I do see what you mean now.

    I'm currently looking into the issue to see if I can find a solution to resolve it for you. I will reply back to you about this problem as soon as I can.

    I've done some further testing of this to attempt to find a solution or cause of the problem but at this time it appears to be related to using the mobile response widget.

    I attempted to make several changes to fix it ranging from adjusting the field sizes, removing things, changing out the widget, removing it, etc. The only time I noticed it was working normal was when the mobile response widget isn't applied but then your form loses its mobile functionality. I'm able to replicate it all on the live form itself so currently I'm convinced there is a problem with it.

    If I am able to find a solution later on I will update you about it. Additionally, I've also reported it to our developers to have them take a deeper look at the issue so that we can try to resolve this problem as soon as possible if there really is one.

    Currently experiencing the same issue, however, this is not limited to my tablet, but also on my website.  Given that you're currently working on a solution not sure if I can provide any additional information to help expedite the solution.  Will look forward to hearing from you if I can provide additional information regarding this same issue.

    In the meantime, you might consider hiding the DateTime field separators to improve the layout on the mobile devices. To do this, inject the following CSS to the form:

    .date-separate {
    display: none;

    We will update this thread as soon as we have any news.

    Thanks Mike. I'm already using a widget, without separators.
